Kluczyinski Federal Building

230 South Dearborn Street, Chicago, Illinois

Electrical Vault Repair

The Kluczynski Federal Building is a government-owned high-rise building in downtown Chicago. The structure houses the U.S. Department of State Passport office, the Internal Revenue Service, and the offices of both Illinois’ U.S. Senators. Designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, the Kluczyinski Federal Building stands 45- stories.

William Hach and Associates, Inc. repaired the structure’s Commonwealth Edison electrical vault. The electrical vault served the entire Kluczyinski Federal Building. In addition to overcoming the unique challenges to repairing a Federal structure, the electrical vault required extensive concrete and steel repairs. William Hach and Associates, Inc. performed the extensive repairs without any power outages or interruptions.
